Hungary – OPEN CALL “Right to the Future” [DEADLINE 02/06/2023 19:00 GMT+1]

Open call for artists/companies/collectives who work within the contemporary performing arts’ – dance, theatre, new circus, or hybrid/transdisciplinary forms – and take an interest in participatory artistic processes and or practices. Applicants should be living and working in Hungary.

By applying to the Tandem “Right to the Future”, you will have the opportunity to develop a new creation coproduced in Tandem by Pro Progressione (Hungary) and Occitanie en Scène, teaming up with Le Parvis Scène Nationale Tarbes-Pyrénées (France).

The coproduction entails a total of four, 11-15 days, research and creative residencies, to be held between February and September 2024, and presenting the final outcome in September and October 2024, in Budapest and Tarbes.

All applicants should be aware of the timeline of the Tandem “Right to the Future” and undertake to be available for participation in the dates specified in point “H. Timeline” of the Terms & Conditions. Should you not be available for participation when notified of your shortlisting, a runner-up will be appointed.

Note that all applications must be submitted in English (including complementary material/Portfolio). Only one application per artist/company/collective is accepted. No entry or administration fee is required. The person filling out the application is assumed to be the main contact person, as well as the legal representative. All fields in the form are mandatory. The jury will exclusively assess artistic profiles and their adequacy to Stronger Peripheries’ framework, no project proposal is expected. Consult the FAQs for more information.
